And So It begins

And so it begins.  The last month has passed in a bit of a blur and with one more family commitment tomorrow, I’m now very much looking forward to things getting back into their rhythm.  Sat here with the new Bloms Bulbs catalogue for Spring, it’s not hard to get excited about the months that lay ahead, chock full as it is with wonderful and inspirational things.

I am expecting to be back to earth with a bump when I see the plot but I’ve been assured by those that have ventured to the site that it’s still far too wet to contemplate anything other than a cup of tea.

The pictures here are taken in the grounds where we live and it’s been so sunny this lunchtime I thought I would take a walk around and do some snapping.  There is a new gardener and the changes he’s made are really heartening to see.

IMG_2285Rather belatedly I’d like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year and since it’s exactly a year ago today that I started Southbourne Gardens to thank you all for continuing to read the blog.  The support is really appreciated.

As ever your comments are very welcome.
