Monday Plotlines

The last plot update saw us cold and very wet, well what a change, here we are ten days into June and so far it’s been wall to wall sunshine and a perfect temperature to work through the long and ever expanding list of things that need to be done at this time of the year.

Hours of ‘potting on’, lettuce, squashtomatoes and corn.  Watering and feeding of raised beds and pots.  Rotivation of the large front bed for final planting out, building cane tee pees for climbing beans and just a tiny bit of pest control.

It’s all made for a very enjoyable time.

Let me know in the comments what you’ve been up to so far this month.

Where did you find that white mesh surround. Does it work for carrot fly?

It came from Ayletts, think it’s Gardman, a new purchase so we haven’t used it for carrots. Have usually planted them with coriander and not had a problem.
